Apparently, in Amboy, out in the Mojave Desert, shoes grow on trees....
There are a few motels dating back to the 40's out in the desert
And some very, very long trains....
but not a lot else - I'm afraid the Mojave desert is not the world's most inspiring place
Luckily, my faithful steed managed to speed me through it on my way to Arizona.
